Wasda The Season To Come

Season 2010/11 is looking great for the drivers in the West, where it will get underway at Collie Speedway on the 16th October, being the first round of the “Wild West Series”. The series this year, will again visit the wine and surf region of Margaret River, go to the “toughest little short track in the South” in Manjimup, and after many years return to the most southern track, which used to be the Speedcars Easter trail, at Attwell Parks’ Albany Speedway.
Collie Speedway and Albany Speedway will be hosting two of WASDA’s Blue Ribbon events for the season. The WA State Speedcar Title at Collie Speedway on December the 18th, which will be covered by Foxtel- Chequered flag, and the Laurie Matthews Memorial will be held at Albany Speedway on March 12th 2011. (At present negotiations are still taking place with one more track). The Magic Man race scheduled at the Motorplex on the 6th November -the Figliomeni family has already received nominations from Davy Ray, Michael Pickens and Brendan Palmer.
